Great Big thanks go out to Norma Jean Charters and our remarkable skipper Piers Barney.
Piers has unsurpassed local knowledge both on & off the water. His genuine respect and enthusiasm for the ocean and the people he meets is contagious.
Thanks Piers for such a great trip!
We would also like to thank Eddie Watts, Annette Trott, Kelley Jones, Bruce Peden, Geoff Copestake & Nadine for their efforts & making the charter happen.

Fishing Club Update
Welcome to our new President, Mr Eddie Watts, we are very grateful to have your leadership. Your background & experience will move our fishing club to the next level.
Unwavering in his support of our fishing club is our vice president Geoff Copestake, shall we say our “backbone”
Also a big thanks to Annette Trott, who has very kindly agreed to be our Secretary / Treasurer and
help with our fundraising raffles to raise money for the club. Let’s help Annette as much as possible, she is already working two jobs. Mike Steed kindly continues as our Charter Master and is keen to see some of his great ideas come to fruition.
Let’s take advantage of the help & experience contributed by our volunteering officers, each club member is challenged to get involved and make their own contribution, large or small and as always new members are welcome to get hooked
A big thank you to the RSA staff, who are always willing to help us out too, we just wanted to let you know that your help and your smiles are appreciated.
Next meeting is the first Thursday of the month 6th September, so come along at 6pm just for fun.
Join the club to have first option on our next fishing charter, its $50 for the first year and $20 each consecutive year.
All members are now welcome to book on our next charter on the Norma Jean for Sat 29th September (x10 places available).

Fishing Club news
We had a well supported sausage sizzle at Mitre 10 on Saturday 30th June. Not only was the day fine but we received wonderful feedback from the public about the great sausages, music and warmth of the occasion. Many came back for second and third servings. This inaugural sausage sizzle raised $250 . The monies raised will help subsidise the cost of future fishing charters. Thanks to all those that helped on the day.
Several people now intend to join the Warkworth RSA after seeing us there.

See you at the club.
