🎣 Hook, Line, and Sinker: The WWRSA Fishing Competition!

Welcome back! We hope you all had a wonderful break and are ready to get back out on the water.
This year, the WWRSA Fishing Competition falls on February 14th—yes, Valentine’s Day! Whether you're fishing for love or for luck, we have an incredible lineup of prizes and events planned for the day.
The Highlights:

Prizes Galore: Including a Fish Auction and a special Valentine’s Women’s Fish Major Prize.

The Big One: A $1,000 Average Weight Prize is up for grabs!

No Boat? No Problem: We have a charter boat available for those without their own vessel. Please register your names at the WWRSA Bar ASAP to secure a spot.

WWRSA fisho’s the weather is improving and the fish are biting!
Remember our Fishing Competition is on the 14th February 2026 gear yourselves up for this, we are looking at something flamboyant and extra ordinaire on this day as it is also Valentine’s Day!
I have also enclosed New Marine protection areas in the Hauraki Gulf if you are unsure about being in an area that could border on these closures get the hell out that’s my handy tip!
